What is FIND WALLY 2015?

FIND WALLY is a national event celebrating IBW’s “Get Local” movement and Independent Bookshop Week,
supporting indie booksellers with a unique promotional opportunity offered exclusively to IBW members. It’s
a month-long hunt for Wally hosted by your bookshop with participation from 10 business establishments in
your town. Spread the “Get Local” message by livening up your town with a community-wide activity which
everyone – kids, parents, and Wally-lovers of all ages – is invited to join.
How does FIND WALLY 2015 work?
On 20 June 2015, Wally-spotters will set off on a hunt to find Wally hidden in 10 business establishments in
your town. Hundreds of eagle-eyed Wally-spotters will be eligible for prizes, the competition culminating on
25 July with a grand ceremony at your shop – with press, your mayor, and/or other local officials on hand.
What are the requirements for FIND WALLY bookshops?
Participating FIND WALLY bookshops agree to:
1. Order a minimum of £200 worth of Where’s Wally? books from 1 May 2015 through to 25 July 2015 from your regional manager. Special discounts are available.
2. Create an in-store Wally display and/or devote a store window to FIND WALLY during the month of July 2015.
3. Host a Wally celebration event at your shop sometime during July 2015.
4. Have fun!
