Morning Brainstorming: How can the Chinese commercial vehicle industry contribute to the implementation and development of
legislation?
12:00
The commercial vehicle market in China has seen some mixed hopes and fears in 2014 where emissions legislation is
concerned. On the one hand, China IV has just been widely implemented across the country however it has not been
without challenges and difficulties which are gradually arising during the enforcement. Discussions regarding the
introduction of Euro VI standards are also leading to both curiosity alongside uncertainty from the industry. In this
brainstorming session, leading experts from international and domestic vehicle manufacturers will discuss practical
strategies and measurements that can be taken to improve the China IV implementation, as well as prospects and concerns
for the adoption of more stringent legislation.

Panel Discussion: What are the best solutions to improve customer awareness of AdBlue® utilization?
The long-delayed China IV emissions legislation finally came into force on Jan.1st 2015, with more China IV compliant trucks
being sold in the country. However, it is being seen that faulty use of AdBlue® is damaging China IV engines. What is the
situation in the real-world application? How can vehicle and engine manufacturers work closely with AdBlue® producers
to provide comprehensive education to the customers? This panel discussion, joined by leading experts from both parties,
will investigate the best practice to address the challenges.
