Law & Supervision Required CEUs For MFT Board-Approved Supervisors in Kentucky On-Site in Paducah and Online via Simulcast Lone Oak Church of Christ, 2960 Lone Oak Road, Paducah, KY. 42001 4:10-5:10 p.m. April 18 (Supervision) 5:10-6:10 p.m. April 18 (Law) Complete your required CE training to continue to be a KY MFT Licensure Board-Approved Supervisor in 2015 • If you are an AAMFT Approved Supervisor in good standing, you must complete a one hour, board-approved, CE training on KY Law • If you are not an AAMFT-approved supervisor, but have been licensed at least five years, and you have completed a board approved supervision course (six-hour course), you must complete 2 hours of CE training in supervision and KY Law. Training is provided at a cost of $25 per hour • One-hour Law classes are $25/hour if taken by themselves • Supervision is $25 Ky Law is FREE if taken with three-hour course offered on same day InteractiveCETraining provides high-quality, interactive, relevant learning events delivered via in person and online learning technology. This learning activity will be delivered via Webex. Registrants will receive information on accessing the trainings at least 24 hours prior to the trainings. ICET provides live support prior to the training for those needing help accessing the training. Information on accessing and participating will be sent to you after we receive your registration. There is no need for camera capability to access. Approved for CEUs by the Kentucky Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board About the Presenters Dale E. Bertram, PhD Dale is a Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. Dr. Bertram has offered the AAMFT Pre-Approved Supervision Refresher Course for AAMFT Divisions in Kentucky, Alabama and Texas, as well as in other venues. Additionally, he routinely presents on Erickson Clinical Supervision, the Principles of MFT Ethics and is co-authoring a book on Ericksonian Supervision with Mike Rankin. Mike Rankin, LMFT Mike Rankin, MA Dale Bertram, PhD. Mike is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor who has a private practice in Louisville, KY. Mike formerly was the Executive Director of the Kentucky Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He is a seasoned supervisor who routinely supervises a number of students and associates who are pursuing MFT licensure. Mike is an experienced workshop speaker, who has presented on MFT Ethics, Ericksonian supervision, and MFT supervision. He is currently co-authoring a book with Dr. Bertram on Eriksonian Supervision. Tony Watkins, LMFT Tony is an LMFT in the state of Alabama and he provides clinical services in his private practice and he works as a military and family life counselor. Tony is a certified trainer for AMSR, Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk, as well as, a certified trainer in several other evidencebased treatments. Formerly, he was an administrator and therapist with Northkey Community Mental Health in Northern Kentucky. He is also a former chair of the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Marriage and Family Therapists. Mr. Watkins is a seasoned workshop presenter, presenting routinely on MFT Ethics, MFT Supervision, and a number of other topics. His wealth of experience from serving the licensure board, along with his work in community mental health are great assets to each of the presentations in which he is involved.
