First of all please remember that Mevlana Exchange Program is not a full scholarship program. Both our university and the Council of Higher Education took some serious steps to avoid some problems again. Our university cannot accept students to the departments which do not offer courses in English. Please ignore this warning if the student is fluent in Turkish. Please pay attention if the student applied to the right department while receiving applications. Please also visit the webpage of ECTS Course Information Package of our university: https://ects.ogu.edu.tr Applications without a language proficiency test report in English or Turkish will not be accepted. Application of each student must be sent scanned in one PDF file in the same order. Application forms filled by hand, wrong or with missing information will not be accepted. Applications with missing documents will not be accepted. Each PDF document must be named with the student’s name and surname. As you know accommodation was one of the main problems. Unfortunately despite all efforts students were not satisfied. Starting from 2015/2016 academic year incoming students and academic staff are responsible for their own accommodation in all means. Neither our university nor Mevlana Exchange Program provides accommodation. Students and academic staff must apply for a visa. Students and academic staff must have a health insurance from an international insurance company valid in Turkey. Neither our university nor Mevlana Exchange Program provides healthcare. This matter is not negotiable. All successful attendants must send the scanned version of their health insurance policy in English before booking their plane ticket.
