Domain 1 - Micah Maniquen - CISA, – is an IT Advisory Associate at KPMG, was an ISACA-LA CISA class attendee in 2012 and shares important knowledge of his recent exam experience with class attendees. It addition to his IT audit experience focusing in healthcare with KPMG, Micah also has deep technical experience with programming and system administration. In addition to his work as an instructor, Micah also serves on ISACA LA’s Volunteer Committee, and Academic Relations Committee. Domain 2 – Thomas Phelps IV – CISA – is a Director in the Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a recognized authority in IT security and regulatory risk, having co-authored two books and several white papers. Thomas is a Past President and Director of ISACA LA. Also, Thomas serves on the Membership Board of ISACA International & the IT Governance Institute. Domain 3 – Nelson Gibbs, CIA, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP, is the Director and Senior Manager of IT Audit at Union Bank. Nelson has over twenty years of experience in information systems, network and systems planning and design. Nelson received his MBA from the University of California at Irvine with an emphasis in Information Technology. He is the author of “A New Auditor’s Guide to Planning, Performing, and Presenting IT Audits” and frequent speaker on business and technology security issues, both in the United States and internationally. Domain 4 – Mike O. Villegas – CISA, CISSP, GSEC, CEH – is Vice President for K3DES LLC. He has over 30 years experience in IT Audit, Information Security and IT Risk Management. He is the current pas president of the LA ISACA Chapter. He is also past president of the San Francisco Chapter of ISACA. Domain 5 - Patrick Baba – CISA, CISSP, GSEC, CEH, is the Sr. Information Security Analyst for the County of Los Angeles. He has over 20 years of experience in IT Audit, Information Security and Security Awareness Training. He is the current certification vice chairman of the LA ISACA Chapter. 2015 PREPARATION & REVIEW WORKSHOPS CERTIFIED INFORMATION SYSTEM AUDITOR (CISA) EXAMINATION Los Angeles Chapter May 9, 16, 23, 30, 2015 MBS Media Campus 1600 Rosecrans Ave. Bldg. 7, Ste. 200 Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES This review course is designed to assist candidates in preparing for the Certified Information System Auditor (CISM) examination. The exam is given on June 13, 2015. This examination requires intensive study of the subject areas included in the common body of knowledge of information security management. The candidate is expected to demonstrate his/her proficiency in all areas required for the certificate. The four Saturday sessions (total 24 hours) are not intended to be basic teaching sessions. The candidates should have proper educational background in all of the subject areas. The sessions are designed to review the five domains that comprise information system auditing and to clarify the more difficult material. The sessions will include lectures and discussions with time for questions raised by the participants. NOTE: This review course is intended to assist participants in their preparation for the exam. However, there is no guarantee that completion of the course will ensure passage of the examination. Parking will be paid by ISACA for all attendees and instructors.
