I am Business intelligence consultant. Since 2007 I work for
consulting companies in Norway. Our clients are big finance,
insurance and telecommunications companies. My main
tasks are:
ETL, data warehousing, reporting and analysis. I took part at
different projects, such as Basel II project at Sandnes
Sparebank, where I was responsible for reports portal and
project that I am taking part right now, Solvency II
Compliance data warehouse at Sparebank1 Skadeforsikring.
Mainly I work with SAS software both ETL and BI platforms
and tools, but I do not have difficulties to learn new software
if there are needs. I have Master degree of Data mining
which was received at Vilnius Gediminas technical University.

Tasks/assignments:
SME(subject matter expert) for non-life insurance datawarehouse
department at SpareBank1 Forsikring. Contact with datawarehouse
business users, discuss issues and requirements. Developing, reporting
using SAS, Tableau and IBM Pure Data for Analytics
Main accomplishments: 2013 – Developing of Datamart for “Actuary data” project. It is part of
Solvency II reporting project. We use SAS DI Studio 4.7 for ETL.
2008.09 - Responsible for SpareBank1 Skadeforsikring datawarehouse
daily drift using SAS DI/ETL and creating monthly, weekly, ad-hoc
business reports using whole SAS 9.1.3, SAS 9.2 BI platform. From
2012 reporting using Tableau.
2012 PoC Netezza (Pure Data for Analytics) SAS datasets integration
with Netezza. Changing ETL processes of SAS datasets to write output
to Netezza for best performance of Tableau reports.

Main accomplishments: 2008.11-2010.05 SAS platform migration at SpareBank1 Skadeforsikring. I
use SAS DI Studio, SAS Management Console for moving whole system
from old base sas 8 to new platform SAS 9.1.3 . Creating metadata, data
management objects and creating scheduling tasks using LSF.
2008.9-2008.11 Reporting system for "Finn.no AS" finance department
using SAS OLAP cube studio, SAS Information delivery Portal and SAS
WebReportStudio.
2008.10 - 2008.12 Modifying of SAS Credit Risk Studio reports by changing
dashboards and portlets for Storebrand og BNBank: Similar task to what I
did at Sandnes Sparebank. Assignment via SAS Institute Norway.
