TAFT RESIDENTS

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE!
PLEASE JOIN US THIS DAY AND COMMIT TO
KEEPING OUR NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN!
Before Clean Up Day:
FRIDAY
Clean up your yard, pick up any litter and place unwanted bulky items curbside. This will
include: furniture, mattresses, appliances, etc. WE WILL NOT PICK-UP YARD WASTE,
REFRIGERATORS OR AIR CONDITIONERS. Commit to keeping your yard clean year
round.
SATURDAY
On Clean Up Day
1. Orange County crews will pick up unwanted bulky items at curbside between 8:00 a.m. and
11:00 a.m.
 Resident volunteers will pick up trash and debris along neighborhood roadways
 After 11:00 a.m. Residents will be responsible for removal of any material
or trash
left curbside after the clean-up.
 Animal
Services will conduct an animal sweep before and during the event.
2. Assist your neighbors in cleaning common areas in your neighborhood. We will meet at the
Taft Community Center – 9450 S. Orange Avenue at 8:00 a.m. and an Ending
Celebration at 11:00 a.m. Light refreshments will be served. All volunteers will receive
FREE T-shirts, gloves and trash bags.
3. Household hazardous waste will be picked up at your house between 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
(Appointment ONLY- details on back). Bring discarded Tires to the Taft Community
Center – 9450 S. Orange Avenue.
