A full list of BICEP members can be found here. Lubber also announced BICEP’s support for the Renew Oregon coalition. BICEP joins the growing list of businesses, communities of color, public health organizations, faith and labor groups, environmental NGOs and citizens calling for climate policy in Washington State. To date the Alliance has endorsed the Carbon Pollution Accountability Act and proposed Clean Fuel Standard. “Today’s news reminds us that making the transition to clean energy is an economic imperative,” said Lisa MacLean, Director of the Alliance. “Accounting for the cost of carbon pollution to our economy and communities will create new jobs and stimulate economic growth while creating a stable climate for long-term prosperity.” The Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy is Washington State’s coalition of individuals, organizations, and businesses dedicated to reducing global warming pollution and strengthening our economy. We call for action to protect the people, places, and quality of life of the state we are proud to call home. ###
