“Dear DPCA Officers and Board Members,
I always thought that DPCAREP was a tool to communicate Doberman/Dog related issues to all club members.
When did it become acceptable for the DPCA President to use it for propaganda in an upcoming election?
I was more than a little surprised and concerned when I saw this mornings REP entitle Kudo's to Judges
Education, here is why:
1) Michelle's first bullet point, is something I wrote, but is attributed to "Coalition Administration" and
ties it to Crop/Dock. I am not part of any coalition, and the text is used entirely out of context, it had
nothing to do with C/D. I was referring to the fact that it appears that medium size and square has
been deemphasized, and the that the verbiage about "Oversize and Rectangular deviations should be
weighed heavily" has been entirely removed. I respectfully request that in the future keep what I say
in context and attribute it to me.
2) Michelle infers that anyone that happens to run in opposition of the NC Slate, agrees with the five
bullet points presented. All five of those were posted by just two people, and neither of us have any
intention of running from the floor.
3) It is simply not Presidential to use DPCAREP in this fashion, and gives her an unfair advantage, since
any opposition can not respond. Use chat lists and Facebook where the playing field is a bit more level.
I sincerely urge the Board to consider adopting internal controls and restrictions on the use of DPCAREP in the
future.
