Danny Russell-
Coach Russell enters his
fourth year as the head coach of a Katy area 6A
High School. Coach Russell was a former high
school all state and division 1 college player.
Coach Russell and his staff helped guide their
team 38 wins in the last 3 seasons. Building a
program around skill, discipline, and positive
attitude, Coach Russell hopes to develop future
basketball players and grow the sport in the Katy
area.
Brian Fox-
Coach Fox has 27 years of
experience coaching high school basketball. In
addition to coaching locally, Coach Fox has
coached in Austin, Hempstead, and at Jasper.
As the head coach at Jasper High School, Coach
Fox was the 18-3A coach of the Year.
Brent Torrey-
5th year coaching locally in Katy a the 9th grade
level and 13 years overall. He has coached boys
and girls basketball in San Antonio and Columbus
from the junior high to the high school level.
Michael Elizondo-
Concession Stand Will Be on Site
former standout player for Loredo High School.
He is entering his second year of coaching, and
specializes in guard development.

Katy High School gymnasium.
The purpose of the HOME of
CHAMPIONS Basketball Camp is
to provide an opportunity to
those who want to learn
basketball fundamentals and
develop skills. After attending
this camp, students will have
learned a shooting system, one
on
one
system,
passing
fundamentals, dribble weapons,
and basic team movement.

Coach Elizondo is a
Local junior high coaches, area high school coaches
and recent local high school graduates will assist
with the camp in addition to the scheduled staff.
All campers will receive a camp ball
and shirt.
Walk up registration is welcome
but shirt/ball sizes can not be
guaranteed. Please register early
to ensure the proper shirt size.
Concession stand with camp bank
will be available for snacks, water,
and sports drinks for campers.
