Nursery Coverage and Children’s Worship is Available!
Nursery is available for children from birth to age three. For children
age 4 to 11 there is a children’s worship class. All are welcome.
Large Print Bulletins
Large print bulletins are available at the main doors.
Receivers and Headphones Available
We have an assisted hearing device installed and receivers and
headphones are available for use during the Service. If you would like to
use them then please speak to the person at the sound system. The Kirk
acknowledges a generous donation which makes this service possible.
Welcome!
We would like to welcome you to our service today. We are happy to
have you and we hope that you will find our worship engaging and our
community welcoming. We hope to see you again in the coming weeks.
Fellowship Time
Please join us after Church in the Upper Hall for fellowship time with
Kathie & Brian MacCallum as our hosts.
This Week’s Music
We are very pleased to have oboist Marc DesRoches joining us this
morning, for the Prelude, Anthem, and Postlude. He is from
Summerside and is studying at UPEI; he plays with the UPEI Wind
Symphony and Strathgartney Chamber Orchestra.

The Kirk N.E.R.D.’s will be meeting today, March 8th at 6:30pm at
the Kirk. Invite your friends and neighbours; all are welcome!
Games Day
Come one, come all! After Church on Sunday March 22, 2015 please
join us in the hall for a chilli luncheon, and games afternoon hosted by
Session. Everything will be provided so come for an afternoon of
food and fun!
Adult Christian Education Study/Discussion Group
On Thursday’s at 7pm, Rev. Amanda is facilitating a seven-week study
and discussion group. To learn more or to sign up, please contact Rev.

Commonwealth Day 2015
Commonwealth Day on Monday, March 9th will be celebrated with a
Commonwealth Day Observance at the Kirk of St. James at 7pm. The
Lieutenant Governor will read the Queen's Commonwealth Day
message. Music will be provided and this includes the P.E.I. Regiment
Band. Army, Navy, and Air Cadets will present the flags of all 53
Commonwealth countries. There will be a freewill offering. Refreshments
will be served in the church hall afterwards. All are welcome.
UPEI Recital
There will be a UPEI Recital at the Kirk of St. James on Tuesday,
March 10th at 7:30pm. All are invited to attend.
Presbyterian Women Meeting
Presbyterian Women will be having a meeting on Wednesday, March
11th at 1pm. All women of the Kirk are invited to attend.
Easter Flowers
Anyone who wishes to place flowers, memorial or
otherwise, in the Sanctuary for Easter is asked to call
the office at 902-892-2839 by Wednesday, April 1st.
All flowers can be dropped off on Thursday, April 2nd.
Please remember that due to allergies highly scented flowers such as
Easter Lilies should be avoided.
