If you’ve signed up, come to the quad at the start of lunch on your day. If not, be there to cheer on your team. This being the final event, it could decide the eventual overall champion of the Olympics! Binder Reminder Cover Calling all 7th graders! Would you like your artwork to be featured on the cover of next year’s Binder Reminder? Submit a design for La Mesa’s new Binder Reminder! Our theme for the contest is super heroes and super powers! Please make sure your artwork is related to this theme. All designs should be submitted to Ms. Behar in Room 451. The deadline is March 26th, Super Lobos, so start sketching! Book Fair Under the Sea Have you visited the book fair yet? If not, make sure you stop by soon. There is something for everyone at the book fair! Remember every purchase you make helps us reach our goal of $5000. If we reach the goal, every student who bought a book will be entered for a chance to tape Mrs. Krantz to the wall. See you at the fair! BOOK FAIR TEACHER CHALLENGES Your La Mesa Junior High teachers really want you to become a lifelong reader. If you make a purchase at this week's Under the Sea book fair, you will help the school reach our $5,000 goal of duct taping Mrs. Krantz to the wall. But there's more! To help motivate you to get there, your teachers will perform a series of stunts on “Livin' Like Lobos.” When La Mesa buys $1000 worth of books, Mr. Schulman will take the bread challenge, live on the air! At $2000, Mrs. Good will attempt the saltine challenge. At $3,000, Mrs. Elvington will take the yummy or yucky bean-boozled challenge, and at $4,000 Mr. Strauss will take the hot pepper challenge while attempting to review his favorite book.
