medication classes prescribed for BP control.
List factors used in selecting antihypertensives for
select patient populations.
Discuss the pathophysiology, symptomatology, and
statistics related to common vaccine-preventable
diseases.
Identify new recommendations and changes within
the 2015 adult and pediatric immunization schedules.
Review the indications, contraindications, side effects,
and administration and storage issues related to
commonly administered vaccines, including influenza,
pneumococcal, shingles, Tdap, and hepatitis B

STEPS approach and patient cases to evaluate their
respective roles in anticoagulation therapy.

Explore the framework of Roger Dawson examining
personality types engaging in a negotiation.
Examine several strategies to deal with each
personality type in negotiation.
Utilizing Dawson's framework, identify your
personality style in negotiation.
Employ appropriate assessment, monitoring and
documentation strategies to meet best practice
standards and medico-legal requirements when
treating patients with chronic opioid therapy.
Apply a practical framework for decision-making on
the initiation, dosage modification, and discontinuation
of opioid analgesics in the treatment of chronic pain.
