dimensions have not been changed, engine manufacturers can convert their current engines to the new,
higher-pressure system with low modification effort.

All system functions are monitored and controlled by
the Electronic Diesel Control (EDC17). The EDC constantly monitors engine parameters and prevents the

engine from damages by informing the operator and
delivering diagnostic support. The EDC can be programmed for different engine requirements without the
need of exchanging the fuel injection hardware, e.g.
different power rating, different torque curves and
fixed or variable speed. The EDC17 is suitable for

Outlook
A 2,000 bar system specifically designed for the
Chinese market is under development.
