golf tournament for the last 15 years. Our first tournament was in
1999. Some of the beneficiaries include Operation Smile,
Youth for Christ Rwanda, Helping Up Mission, Alpha
Life (Ukraine), Youth for Christ and The Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation.

The Links at Gettysburg is
rated as a “4 1/2-Star Facility” by
Golf Digest, and a “Must-Play” by Golfstyles. The lush
greens carved into red rock canyons create a wonderful
backdrop for our event while supporting LifePoint’s
influence around the world and in our region.

The Cause
FCA is equipping students
on 12 campuses throughout
Carroll County, including all
high schools, to share their
faith with their peers. On the
average week, approximately 700 athletes and coaches
are reached through FCA in Carroll County. This
happens through the on-campus student-led FCA
clubs, Character Coaches that serve a specific team,
Team Studies, Coaches Studies, etc.
Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been
challenging coaches and athletes on the professional,
college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use
the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world
for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging
people to make a difference for Christ. FCA’s Vision is
“To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the
influence of coaches and athletes.”
