Software Engineers help the Engineering Team at LKQD build efficient digital solutions that help position us as a category leader. Our engineering team works smart and hard. We focus on clean code, building it right the first time, and constant push to integrate the latest technologies that benefit our products. The goal of the Engineering Team is to strategize, create, and manage digital products that expand market share, outpace competition, and give our clients an excellent user experience. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Communicate effectively in both verbal (day-­‐to-­‐day discussions, team meetings) and written forms (requirements and design specifications) with local and remote team members. Actively manage and own feature development beyond design & implementation by providing sound consultation and feedback to Product Stakeholders, QA and operations Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and feedback from the marketing, operations and product teams; following the software development lifecycle. ✓ SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
✓ AD TECH EXPERIENCE
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Extensive knowledge of the digital advertising space Experience working with digital advertising platforms, technologies, tags, scripts, and tools. Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed. A passion for writing elegant code and a desire to constantly re-­‐factor and improve, with a good understanding of OO programming Experience working within a large database environment YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

focus a plus)
8. A minimum of at least 3 years’ experience writing JavaScript, Actionscript, HTML
and CSS.
9. Strong Experience of software development principles including Object-­Oriented
Programming. 10. Experience constructing and parsing JSON and XML in multiple programming
languages. 11. Experience working with Version Control Systems, ideally git or svn
Additional Favorable Skills: •

Experience writing HTML5 web pages, especially working with video.
Experience integrating with third party video adverting companies using IAB VAST
and VPAID standards.
Exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Exposure to REST APIs.
Working in an Agile environment.
Strong ability to develop products rapidly and multi-­task while continuing to meet
deadlines
Have an outstanding attention to detail to confirm project requirements are met.
