Dear Friends,
The Otis Grant & Friends Foundation and the Lindsay Place Alumni Foundation have
joined forces to hold an annual golf tournament; which this year will be held on Monday, June
29, 2015, at the Windmill Heights Golf Club located on Notre Dame de L’Ile Perrot.
We encourage you to join us for a fun-filled Vegas-style tournament that will begin with a
shotgun start at one o’clock. We would suggest that you form a foursome (at a cost of
$700.00) to enter the tournament. The cost for individual golfers is $175.00 and we can match
you up with other players. The entry fee entitles you to an enjoyable day of golf which
includes green fees, cart, prizes, food and a tax receipt for your $50.00 donation. If you would
like a guest to join you for dinner, the cost will be $50.00.
At registration golfers will be asked what their and their dinner guests will choose for the
main course. The selection includes 1) braised short rib, 2) salmon or 3) stuffed Portobello
mushroom. The meal will include a salad vinaigrette and tiramisu dessert with coffee or tea.
We are also seeking sponsors for the tournament. To sponsor a hole costs $100.00. In return, a
simple sign bearing the company’s name and logo will be displayed close to the tee box. Also, the
company name and logo will be included in the golf tournament’s program. A tax receipt will be
issued for the entire amount sponsored.
Proceeds from this tournament will enable the Otis Grant & Friends Foundation to serve
its community and the Lindsay Place Alumni Foundation to help educate our children for the
future.
For now we would like to invite you to sign up your foursome early and/or sponsor our
tournament. To register for the golf tournament or to sign up as a sponsor, use one of these
methods.
Method One: Go to our website lphsgrads.org to register for the golf tournament. You will
pay using PayPal.
Method Two: Complete the registration form attached to this letter. Mail a cheque and the
registration form to the following address:
