ission Statement: The Las Terrazas Neighborhood Association (LTNA) was established in 1993 to
promote a better neighborhood and community through group action, so that the quality of
life in the area shall be in keeping with the social, environmental, cultural and historic needs
and interests of the residents.
For the past few years LTNA has promoted a better neighborhood by funding a landscape company to
clean and maintain public areas to promote neighborhood pride. This is accomplished by our
membership dues. As a result, Las Terrazas has been one of the desirable neighborhoods in Albuquerque.
Home prices have stabilized and grown because of our neighborhood pride by the families of Las Terrazas.
A Note from the LTNA President
I am privileged to serve a wonderful neighborhood such as ours. I know with your involvement we can
maintain our mission and promote a better neighborhood and community. I look forward to working with
the LTNA board and its committees as well with the rest of the neighborhood to meet our objectives.
To meet our objectives we need neighbor participation in the Las Terrazas Neighborhood Association. We
cannot keep our landscaping clean and maintained if we do not all contribute to maintain our mission.
Please see the enclosed envelope and join with a modest amount of $35 per year or 10 cents a day.
Look out for one another and be safe - kind regards,
Frank Peña
Neighborhood News
On December 2nd thieves broke into car in the neighborhood in the early morning. Please do not tempt
thieves by leaving valuables in cars. Remember to remove garage door openers when parking cars in
driveways or on the street.
Leave porch lights on at night – a well-lighted neighborhood discourages mischief.

LTNA Membership for 2015
Membership dues are requested at the beginning of the calendar year. Membership dues are primarily used to keep
the perimeter of our neighborhood clean. Truly “a dime a day can keep the weeds away.” The more neighbors who
pay their dues, the more we can do to keep our neighborhood clean and maintained.
Dues are $35.00 per year, a small fee for grounds maintenance. In the past, maintenance costs have been
approximately $2600. That means we need at least 72 out of 192 neighbors to pay this fee.
Please consider being a friend of Las Terrazas Neighborhood Association. Please use the attached envelope to join
the Friends of LTNA.
Checks can be made out to: LNTA, PO Box 66862, Albuquerque, NM 87193.
You may give your check out to any board member.
