This past Sunday I had the
privilege to preach at Missionary Grove
Baptist Church in Cullman County and
share about the Send North American
emphasis and the Annie Armstrong
Missions Offering. It never ceases to
amaze me that almost 45,000 SBC
Churches can partner together by
praying, giving, and going to advance the
work of missions and evangelism!
Missionary Grove is a small, rural church
that is excited and involved in missions.
They have already exceeded their
missions offering goal of $1,125!
I am thankful to be a part of the
Madison Baptist Association and all the
churches that are involved in missions!
As your associational missionary, it is
exciting to see our churches partner
together in missions by praying, going,
and giving!
Three mission opportunities are
available in the next few months that you
and your church might want to be check
out.
ESL Training is at the MBA office
on May 7-9th, 2015. In Madison County
there are many people that need and
want to learn English. This training helps
volunteers to be equipped and also to be
certified to teach English and share the
Gospel as our churches offer ESL to the
community. Cost is only $25 for this
3-day training. Please call the MBA office
to register.
Rocket City Missions is June 2126, 2015. This mission project is open to
all youth groups and their leaders. It
involves working on homes during the
days and worship each evening. Check
out www.rocketcitymissions.org or give
Ron a call at the MBA. There are a
couple of options cost wise for groups to
be involved.
Romania Mission Trip will be
September 3-14, 2015. If you are
interested in being a part of this mission
team, it is not too late to sign up! We
need churches to partner with a church in
the Sibiu Baptist Association. There are
many needs and opportunities for
churches to partner! The cost of the
September trip is $2,400. If you have any
questions, please give Ron or Barbara a
call. We will be glad to meet with you or
your church!
Thanks to all the children, parents,
and leaders that were a part of the
Association Bible Drill last week! I really
appreciate Whitesburg Baptist Church
hosting this event!

Association VBS Team, all VBS
teachers from our churches and
University Baptist Church for helping
prepare us for Vacation Bible Schools
this summer across our association!

The May 18th Conference will be held at Camp MACOBA
in conjunction with a fish fry. It will also be the last
Minister’s Conference for the Summer. The Conference
will resume in August.
The Minister’s Conference is held at the Madison
Baptist Association Office and begins at 10:00 AM.

You must attend all sessions in order to be
certified. This is a Christian based training.

Get Acquainted Day is Tuesday, May 5,
