COVENANT CHURCH FAMILY
**Brandon and Terri Falcon were blessed with a baby boy on Wednesday, March 4 at 11:07pm. Reese is
now a big sister to Luke William Falcon! Luke and mom are doing well. Welcome, baby Luke and
congrats, Falcon family!
**Just before 12pm Sunday, March 8, Chris and Kristina Broad welcomed Lois Catherine Broad to the
world. Mom and baby are doing well. Congratulations to them, Lois’ siblings Gwennie and Charlie, and
proud grandparents David and Diane Broad!
**Michelle and Derek VanderSpek are expecting their firstborn in a few weeks. Early in the pregnancy the
baby was diagnosed with some very troubling heart problems; thanks be to God the baby’s health has
been improving steadily month by month! Let’s join the VanderSpeks in praying for a special measure of
the Lord’s strength, peace and continued healing.
**Wedding news! Heather Grace VanAndel and William Luke Olbach have indicated their desire to be
united in Christian marriage. Unless lawful objections to their proposed union are received, the wedding
will take place at Covenant CRC on Saturday, March 21st at 3:10pm, Pastor Martin Dam will be
officiating. May the Lord give this couple (and their families) a rich blessing as Heather and Luke prepare
for their wedding day and marriage.

CHURCH FAMILY – Prayer Notes
**Janet Bentum continues to recuperate at home after surgery a month ago. At the time of bulletin
printing, Janet was still awaiting results from pathology. We pray for her continued healing and God's
strength for the whole family.
**Freda Ranter has been in Woodstock Hospital for the past week with abdominal adhesions, likely
resulting from previous abdominal surgeries. We pray that God would loosen the adhesions and remove
any obstructions.
**Murray Dyk is scheduled for an angiogram on Monday morning in Hamilton, so doctors can have a
better sense of his heart functioning and blood flow. We pray for a successful procedure and for Murray's
health and strength.
**Nick Kiers had a follow-up visit in London this week that showed his condition as stable, which the
family takes as good news. We pray that Nick will continue to experience no adverse affects of the
treatments he received, and that the cancer will not return.
**Due to their health, Mrs. Jacoba Batterink, Mr. Andy Berghuis, Mrs. Anna DeJager, Mr. & Mrs. Hank &
Jean Meyer, Mrs. Tina Schut, Mr. & Mrs. Klaas & Liz Slik and Mr. Albert Wesselink are unable to join us
for worship services. Please support them with prayer and encouragement.
**Thank you to everyone who came out to support youth for the kale and spaghetti dinner. We were able
to raise approximately $1,400 for our youth to go on SERVE and to All Ontario.
Of all the wonderful gifts that God has given us, the gift of His own Son is truly the greatest. How
can we ever thank God for a gift like that? God does not ask us to sacrifice our own precious
firstborn, but He does ask that we be generous in making some sacrifices for Him.
