It refers to a cluster of symptoms that result in people having difficulties with specific language skills, particularly reading. 3)Research indicates that 10 to 15% of children may suffer from some type of Dyslexia. In India this figure may go up as multilingualism can also impact on the difficulty. 4)Research also shows that 95% of reading failure is preventable – by using appropriate reading systems. Can Dyslexia be cured? Dyslexia is not a disease; it has no cure. Dyslexia is caused by irregularities in the way information is processed in a brain which is often gifted and productive in many other areas. However most children with dyslexia can success in school with remedial reading. Funetics?
