MDX Board of Directors Extends Open Enrollment Period for Cash Rebate Program
Deadline Extended to April 30, 2015 to Register and Earn Cash Rebates on Tolls
Miami, FL – The Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) Board of Directors voted unanimously at its
board meeting on March 24 to extend the open enrollment period for its new MDX Advantage Program
Platinum membership, allowing the public an additional 30 days to register to earn cash rebates on tolls.
MDX Advantage is a free program that offers a variety of benefits to SunPass® customers who use MDX
expressways. The program is MDX’s way of showing appreciation to drivers who frequently use MDX
expressways to commute in Miami-Dade County. The program is free and there is no cost to register or
participate.
Benefits of the MDX Advantage Program include the opportunity to earn cash rebates for frequent
SunPass® customers, a free discount card good for purchases at participating retailers in Miami-Dade
County including Domino’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and Jiffy Lube. MDX Advantage members also receive a free
eNewsletter provides the latest information about MDX projects, community events and initiatives,
contracting opportunities and more.
By becoming a Platinum level member, frequent users of MDX expressways will be eligible to receive up
to $30 in rebates each quarter starting on July 1, 2015.
“The MDX Advantage Program is a benefit to this community,” said Maritza Gutiérrez, chair of the MDX
Board of Directors. “We felt it was important to extend the open enrollment period to give the community
additional time to register and take advantage of the program.”
