Nomination forms are posted on the SCI website. Jose Madrazo Jose Madrazo, “Pepe” as he is known in the hunting world, was born in Salamanca (Spain) where he practiced as a lawyer until retirement and has hunted until today. For his passion of hunting, there is no retirement! He started hunting at the age of ten with his father, mother and relatives on his family estate in his local region. He began hunting internationally in 1981 and has not stopped since. His passion has always been to hunt in the mountains. That started in his native country hunting ibex and chamois, and later the mountains of the world to collect 37 different species of sheep including 11 different argali and 39 different species of capra. In total he has bagged 96 mountain animals, among them the two different species of takin, the serow and the goral. His collection of more than 350 different species of animals is the result of 151 international safaris, visiting 56 countries and more than 180 provinces or states in five continents. He has been on nearly 450 hunts for big game and counts among his achievements The Conklin Award, the World Hunting Award Ring, and the Culminum Magister Award. He is proud of having been finalist for the Caldesi Award and the Weatherby Award. INTERNATIONAL HUNTING AWARD SELECTION COMMITTEE Jim Schockey, Sub-Chair J. Alain Smith Kenneth L.
