MEPS Real-Time® reveals its RFID-enabled smart drawer solution at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, December 7-11, 2014.
Offered as a component for anesthesia supply carts or automated anesthesia systems, the Intelliguard® RFID Smart Drawer can
electronically capture data on interoperative medication removal to support charge capture and provide automatic processing
alerts to pharmacy for replenishment tasks.
Streamline Medication Management in the OR and Procedural Areas
With the Intelliguard® RFID Smart Drawer, inventory is automatically updated each time the drawer is opened and closed.
Unlike barcode solutions, RFID requires no manual scanning or item-level counting so you can ensure 100% compliance in the
OR and procedural areas.
Intellectual Property
MEPS® Real-Time has integrated and brought to production two patented and exclusive Dynamic Sensor Module™ (DSM)
antenna solutions to increase read rates and reliability of RFID systems specifically to address medical applications. These DSM
technologies are incorporated to provide excellent RFID system performance in a size efficient, cost-effective form factor.
MEPS® has developed RFID systems that operate at the ISM 915 MHz frequency band. This frequency band was selected for its
enhanced propagation characteristics. Our patented and exclusive intellectual property allow us to integrate antenna systems
