X-Ray Chambers
Designed for the inspection of castings, complex fabrications and assemblies the
Osprey-160 enables customers to gain the benefits of x-ray inspection facilities
quickly, simply and safely in an integrated turn-key solution.
Comprising an x-ray generator, detectors, motion stage, software, radiologically
safe cabinet, and and an impressive range of automated and configurable features,
including an intuitive operator interface that allows manual control for one off
inspections and a “teach” function for automated inspection.
X-Ray CABINETS
EZ Access is a modular shielded x-ray cabinet, ideal for use in Universities, research
laboratories and NDT test facilities.
The EZ Access cabinets’ novel door arrangement allows the user maximum access
to the internal inspection area whilst ensuring complete interlock safely. The cabinet
can be supplied as a fully assembled unit, or as a “flat-pack” for on-site assembly.
It can be supplied with pre-installed or seperate x-ray generators and detector
components, and a range of optional accessories.

X-Ray Generators
Metrix NDT offers a range of high performance monobloc x-ray generatiors.
Produced by one of the worlds’ leading manufacturers, and with an installed base of
many 1000’s of units, these generators have a record of reliability, excellent stability
and high performance.
The monobloc generators combine the high voltage inverter and x-ray tube into a
single and compact package for simple and safe integration into your system. The
generator units are capable of operating in a wide variety of environmental conditions
and are available in a range of energies from 60keV to 250keV.
X-ray Detectors
Metrix NDT can supply single and dual energy x-ray detector cards and diode arrays
in a variety of configurations. With pixel pitches ranging from 0.2mm to 9.2mm, and scintillator types optimised for your application, these components are designed to
be ‘stackable’ so detector arrays of any length can be produced.
The detector cards have a dedicated ASIC signal acquisition unit to maximise
performance and ease system integration whilst providing high reliability and
performance at competitive prices. From security to industrial screening, Metrix can
provide detector solutions to meet your requirements.
X-Ray Tubes
Metrix NDT are partners with industry leading manufacturers and can offer a high
reliability x-ray tubes at competitive prices. We can provide the technical expertise to
