Today’s Lesson, Jesus, the Master Teacher, is Lesson #9 on page 72
of The Book of Luke, our Sabbath School Quarterly. Adult classes
are held in the sanctuary, the Church House, and the library, and
children’s classes, starting with Beginner, are located on the balcony.
Please plan to join Roberta Jupp for our next “Lunch and Learn”
on June 13th, in the sanctuary immediately after our fellowship
meal. The topic will be “Depression”.
WE NEED someone to serve our church as the Mailing Ministry
Secretary. This individual would mail bulletins and other materials
to those who cannot attend each week. If the Lord is impressing
you to participate in this helpful ministry, speak to the Pastor.
Our guest speaker next Sabbath will be Rick
Hutchinson, Director of the department of
Planned Giving and Trusth Services at the Carolina
Conference. After a light lunch in the Church
House, he will present a Planned Giving Seminar
sure to benefit alll who attend.
The department of Planned Giving and Trust Services exists to
serve those of our constituents who desire to achieve their
stewardship objectives both during and after their lifetimes.
Information and assistance is provided through the expertise of
trust officers who are certified to perform the duties of Planned
Giving and Trust Services. This information and assistance is
provided through seminar presentations, wills clinics, and private
consultations.
Welcome, Visitors! We’re so blessed that you chose to worship
with us today. If there is anything we can do to make your visit
more enjoyable, please let one of our elders or deacons know.

Every 2nd and 4th Sabbath, right after Fellowship Lunch, LeRoy
Peterson will lead a Bible Study and Prayer group in the Sanctuary.
This is a wonderful way to spend a little more of your Sabbath time
with the Lord, and you will receive a special blessing for attending.
Don’t forget, that’s every 2nd and 4th Sabbath right after Lunch,
at 1PM.
Pastor Robinson can be heard every Wednesday evening at 8 PM
during June and July on 890 WBAJ. And during your summer
travels, take him with you by listening to www.WBAJ.net 24 hours
a day, world-wide.
Next Tuesday at our 7 PM Video Prayer Meeting and Bible Study
we’ll continue watching the exciting Music study Distraction
Dilemma. You’re welcome to come any Tuesday night, as the
videos don’t have to be viewed consecutively. There are only four
more videos left to watch in this series, before we start our next
set.
More Announcements, 5/30/2015
A light lunch will be prepared on June 6th for members, guests,
and visitors who will remain and attend the afternoon's seminar
presented by Bro. Rick Hutchinson. Hay stacks will be prepared,
and we will need shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped
onion, sliced olives, salsa, corn chips, tortilla chips, nondairy sour
cream, shredded vegetarian cheese, vegetarian cheese sauce,
canned corn, and vegetarian chili to make it a successful lunch.
We have placed a roster in the foyer for you to sign up for the
menu item(s) that you would like to contribute towards the light
lunch. (Please consider contributing a food item even if you do not
plan to stay and attend the seminar). We ask that you make your
selection(s) today, May 30th so that we will know what items will
be needed to make up the menu. If you have any questions,
please contact Sis. Simms. Your effort towards making this special
luncheon a success is greatly appreciated.
The church board
thanks you in advance for your contributions. God Bless.
