SOLA380 functions as a DC current source similar in concept like the microinverter in case of AC power line. However it has over 97% Conversion Efficiency
unlike micro-inverter’s bordering around 94%.
SOLA380 output voltage is limited to 400V max. Therefore like micro-inverters
several SOLA380 can work in parallel to build higher power output. Each
SOLA380 has 250Wp or 300Wp rating like its mother panel; either Mono or
Poly.
Its topology is field proven with over 5000 units working in the field. The unit is
designed to work with equal efficiency over the entire temperature range from
-20 ⷪC to +85 ⷪC since the module is mounted on the underside of the PV panel.
Each SOLA380 is independent MPPT current source and therefore parallel
SOLA380s are free from series string losses due to shadow on even one panel.
While paralleling many panels, one can mix SOLA380s of any power rating or
being mono or poly. Thus there is no need to match them when hooked in all
parallel array.
We have installed over 100 SOLA380s in one parallel array with 10 to 25% more
energy yield than conventional parallel array of series strings.
SOLA380 is an ideal choice to power Data Centers with Green PV Solar Power
at its highest efficiency. In recent times modern data centers are choosing 380V
DC power than AC power. SOLA380 takes you further to deploy Green Energy.
