TRIBUTE TO PROLIFIC ZENA, THE WARRIOR PRINCESS
A FORTRESS OF EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTER FOR HUMANITY
…whose sad demise occurred on Thursday 2nd April 2015
Abstracts from Zena’s interaction with Motec when she worked with Motec for humanity.
THE LATE ZENA BULLMORE (MBE) AT THE CENTRE OF MOTEC’s
AGM MARCH 2009 ADVOCATING FOR THE DEVELOPED WORLD TO
SUPPORT GOOD CAUSES SUCH AS THAT OF MOTEC
Motec called her the ‘WARRIOR PRINCESS’ in our publication
in 2009, and indeed on the occasion of her sad loss, the
local journalists have blessed the memorable ‘title’.
She agreed with one of the central tenets of Motec, ‘education
is essential, and people must be kept informed’ and, she says“you must be organised.”
1
To get people to work with Motec, she emphasised -
“You have got to win their trust. You have to give them
the facts. You have to get people to see the justice of what
you are doing. And you must respect your fellow man.”
When you work for ‘people’, she retorted -
“Promises must be kept”
“If a thing is right, it’s right. If a thing was
wrong yesterday, it’s still wrong today.”
Determination and Positivity
“I’ve been lied to, I’ve been let down, but I never
say anything…I’m like Paul, I keep smiling! I smile
a lot!”
We mourn the loss of an outstanding individual who fought against
‘socio-economic injustice’. Her legacy will ever be remebered.
‘Zena - may your soul rest in eternal peace. We will carry on
with the spirit and continue to fight for peace through good
governance, education, health and wealth for all especially the
impoverished people of this world’. Motec Presidency. 11th
