2015 Spring Youth Tennis Programs
NOW INCLUDES 8 CLASSES!
Spring Program takes place on May 5th through June 25th
If Rain Make-ups needed: June 30th- July 2nd; July 7th – July 9th
Pee Wee Tennis:
Fee $80.00
Open to ages 4 and 5. Fun games and challenges to introduce your child
to the skills needed for the “game of a lifetime”… tennis!
Maximum of 8 per class/ minimum 4. Available: Thursdays 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.
Novice:
Fee $80.00
Open to children ages 6 and 7. Learn basic strokes of tennis.
Maximum of 16 per class/ minimum 6.
Available: Tuesdays 4:00 to 4:55 p.m. or Wednesdays 4:00 to 4:55 p.m.
Beginner:
Fee $80.00
Open to children ages 8 and older. Learn basic tennis strokes.
Participants will be separated based on skill level.
Available: Tuesdays 5 to 5:55 p.m. or Wednesdays 5 to 5:55 p.m. or Thursdays 4:30 to 5:25 p.m.
Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Instruction with Play:
Fee $110.00
Open to children ages 8 and older. Must have had previous lessons.
Maximum of 18 per class/ minimum 8.
Participants will be separated based on skill levels. More play to build skills.
Available: Tuesdays 6:00 to 7:25 p.m. or Wednesdays 6:00 to 7:25 p.m.
Youth Instructional Competitive League: Fee $110.00
Open to ages 10 and older. MUST BE ABLE TO SERVE AND PLAY POINTS. Additional opportunity to
play with instruction on learning the “mental” part of the game. Trophies awarded.
Maximum 24/ minimum 8. Available: Thursdays 5:30 to 7:25 p.m.
Participants must supply their own racquet.
All youth participants must be residents of Manalapan.
Classes held at the Manalapan Recreation Center Tennis Courts.
(Classes maybe held at Manalapan HS when conflict with HS home match)
Participants must be proper age by May 5, 2015.
Please show proof of age when registering.
Youth fees include 8 classes and a Tennis participant T-shirt.
Maximum per class is 18/ minimum 6 unless otherwise noted.
Instructors reserve the right to adjust classes as necessary
to ensure students are at the correct level of instruction.

ACCIDENT INSURANCE
In order to additionally protect participants in our Recreation programs, Manalapan Township maintains a
"LIMITED FORM OF CONTRACT" accident insurance for youth sponsored programs (with the exception
of skiing, boxing, lacrosse and ice hockey), which is intended to be only supplemental to your own personal
health insurance. This coverage has restrictions and limitations and does not include individuals over the age
of 18. All participants are encouraged to carry their own personal health insurance to adequately be
protected in case of emergency. Manalapan Township carries NO health insurance coverage for personal
injury while participating on sponsored ski trips or any of the excluded categories.
PROGRAM ACCIDENT INSURANCE/DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
Programs sponsored by Manalapan Parks and Recreation offer an opportunity for participants to explore and
test the limits of their abilities. Every effort is made by staff and volunteers to protect the safety of all
participants. Your participation in the Manalapan Recreation Program is voluntary and we assume no
responsibility for any injuries or accidents that may occur.
MEDICAL ATTENTION
I hereby authorize the attending physician to administer treatment on behalf of the above minor participant in
the event of an emergency. I also assume financial responsibility for any medical treatment for my child not
covered under the Township’s accident insurance policy.
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
