Service Description: The refugee program aims to assist
asylum seekers to become self-reliant and participate fully
in Australian society as soon as possible after

Service Description: • The service provides a flexible
model of respite within a community setting. Respite can be
provided on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends or as a
block respite; as one-on-one or in a group setting; in the
community or as in home-respite. Carer or client can
change the time and the form of respite at any one time to
suit their current needs.• Clients pay for personal costs
incurred while on respite (eg. lunch, movie tickets) and are
asked to contribute $20.00 per month (billed monthly). No
client or carer is denied the service due to financial
constraints.•
Clients and carers have access to 24/7
emergency ON Call service.

Service Description: Provides a social environment
where people can connect with their community. The
Hammondville Social Club is a Home & Community Care
and National Respite for Carers funded service supporting
people who are frail, aged or living with dementia in the
Bankstown, Liverpool & Fairfield, Campbelltown (LGAs).
The Hammondville Social Club has the Extended Hours
programme from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. Clients to
attend via cover transport to access these lows.

Service Description: Liverpool Ethnic Day Care is a
community based service for the frail aged, older people
and older people with mild disabilities of Italian, Arabic,
Spanish and Former Yugoslavian (Croatian, Serbian,
Macedonian, Bosnian and Slovenian) speaking
backgrounds of Liverpool LGA. This service provides an
opportunity to spend a day away from the home and meet
others of similar age and origin. It prevents isolation and
provides respite to the carers. The service includes
transport, programs, activities & nutritious meals. Activities
are organised according clients need. Once a month they
have outings to places of interest

Service Description: Lurnea Adult Activity Centre is a
community based for the frail aged and older people with
mild disabilities living in the Liverpool LGA. This service
provides an opportunity to spend a day away from the home
and meet others of similar age & origin. It prevents
isolation & provides respite to the carers. The service
includes transport, specific programs/activities and
nutritious meals. Activities/programs are designed to
stimulate and enhance intellectual, physical and social
well-being of the clients. In addition, this service also
assists and supports local carers through the Lurnea Carers
Support Group. (Meetings are held at the second Friday of
the months).

strengths based program that recognises the parents'
motivation to change. Brighter Futures provides integrated

DescriptionThe Brighter Futures program provides services
and targeted support for children aged under 9 years old
and their families as they address challenges that might

resilience, build strong relationships between children and
their families, build parenting skills and increase children's
