Structure of Greenwich United

 Structure of the soccer partnership between OGRCC and GSA to form Greenwich United Greenwich United – Director of Coaching: Kurt Putnam OGRCC – Director of Coaching: Mickey Kydes GSA – Director of Coaching: Stuart Smith The formal merger between OGRCC and GSA is at U12 to form Greenwich United Tryouts occur in mid May to place players in respective teams (Premier, Travel A or Travel B) according to tryout scores and a coach evaluation. Greenwich United Premier teams will play in the New York Premier League (NYPL) and participate in the NY Cup. The travel teams will continue in the CJSA South West District and play the CT Cup. Typically each season lasts around 11-­‐12 weeks. We expect for 2015-­‐16 to be at around 16 teams from U12-­‐U18 GREENWICH UNITED (2014-­‐15) Merged Programs of OGRCC and GSA travel at U12 and above. We anticipate having 16 teams during the 2015-­‐16 soccer year • Boys: 5 Premier Teams • Boys 3 Travel level Teams • Girls: 2 Premier Teams • Girls: 1 Travel level Team OGRCC Travel Program U9-­‐U11 – teams play in SWDCJSA çç GSA Travel Program U8-­‐U11. U8 plays NYCSL and U9 up plays SWDCJSA GSA Kickers & Academy Program
