We Bring Our Gifts The Apostle Paul writes: “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situa on, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:12, 13, NIV). Local congrega ons have also learned to be content in all situa ons. Some mes we don’t seem to have what we need, yet the Lord does not forget us. Some mes we don’t seem to have the money for our ministries, yet the Lord blesses us. The reason we are content is Monthly Vegetarian Cooking Classes Next on July 6th , August 3rd The classes are limited to 12 participants at a cost of $20 per class. The registration fee is due to Mary Lou McAlpine unless we are able to fill the cancelled spot from our wait-list. Your registration is secured only by your payment, so don't delay. Register by calling Mary Lou McAlpine at 248-921-7477. Genesis 1:14-18 tells us, God made the sun and the moon on the fourth day and that it was good. Did you know? Sunshine directly onto your skin helps produce vitamin D, which fights depression, heart disease and osteoporosis? because God gives us the strength we need. That was Paul’s experience and that can be ours, too. Today’s offering is for our local church. Ask the Lord to help you decide what you should give and remember that whatever you give, our church will be able to fulfill its mission because God will strengthen us. Tuesday Night Bible Study Join us mid-week as we study God's Word in the context of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Be inspired and encouraged to be more like our Savior. We meet at 7:00pm weekly. 3rd Sabbath Fellowship Meal Enjoy fellowship and a wonderful, healthy meal every 3rd Sabbath following Sabbath School. Two locations, same study. Junior/Teen: This Sabbath School class meets in the first room to the right of the kitchen and is designed for children ages 10-14. Kindergarten/Primary: This Sabbath School class meets in the kid's room down the main hall on the right. It is designed for children up to the age of 9 years old. Bridge Young Adult Ministry seeks to unite young adults from all over Metro Detroit and to provide functions and events that will help strengthen young adults' walk with Christ. This Bridge Vespers will be at Monroe Seventh-day Adventist Church (2222 Sandy Creek Rd, Monroe, MI 48162) on June 6 at 6:30 pm. The title of the message is "Purpose Revealed" and will be given by Gabriel Agboruche. Bring your own lawn/folding chair and stick around after the message for a bonfire and s'mores! You are invited to join the Howard family for a Graduation Open House on Sunday, June 7, from 12-3 p.m., at the Metro Church fellowship hall, celebrating the graduation of Kayla Brittney Howard from Great Lakes Adventist Academy.
