CLASS XI ADMISSIONS 2015 – 2016

A total of 90 seats are available for Class XI admissions this year, 60 seats in Science and 30 seats in Commerce
and Humanities. The school offers twelve subject combinations for students. This year, the school offers
Psychology to the Science Stream students as well.
Admissions to the above seats are automatic for students of NCS Goa who have passed Class X assessments.
However students who have scored 7.5 CGPA and less are not eligible to apply for the Science Stream.
The Admission process will start once the results are consolidated and course eligibility list is drawn by the
school office. The course eligibility list is a grade statement showing the performance of students (descending
order / internal cut off set by students’ performance) in Math, Science, English, Social Studies and Language.
The application for admission is online. Students interested to apply, should check their course eligibility which
will be placed on the website and on the school notice board.
It is the responsibility of students to inform school office of their choice of stream through the online
application form.
Students planning to leave school should inform school by email with details like Name, Admission no, CBSE
reg no and contact Phone number within five working days from the date of announcement of the course
eligibility list. The school office will confirm admission of students to the various streams within five working
days from the date of announcement of the course eligibility list. On confirmation, the fees for the course will
be due and payable.
Those who apply for transfer certificate after the above mentioned time period will have to pay fees as per
school policy.
Points to note:
1. A total of 50 seats reserved in the Science Stream for students of NCS Goa.
2. A total 10 seats in the Science Stream is reserved for children of serving Navy Personnel on transfer to
Goa (subject to meeting the internal cut off set by the current batch) and NCS Goa students who have
excelled in sports at the State, National and International level.
3. A total of 30 seats available for students interested in Commerce and Humanities.
4. Physical Education subject is offered to only those students who have participated at least at the intra
- school and inter - school level sports events.
5. Admission in NCS Goa in science stream is not a guarantee for admissions in other NCSs in the same
stream. (For those who plan to go on transfer to other stations immediately after admission in NCS
Goa)

Advisory:
Parents are requested to discuss with their children to decide on the subject combination. It is important to
evaluate interests in the subjects and future plans. Parents and students are requested not to be misled by
options to change subjects later. Change of subjects in class XII will not be granted vide CBSE circular
CBSE/RO/ROD/E-BL/2015 dated 15th May 2015.
