New England Aquarium
11:00-4:00
Join us for an exciting day in Boston! We will be venturing to the New England
Aquarium to see penguins, seals, sharks, fish and so many more amazing sea creatures!
We will also be watching “Secret Oceans 3D” in their state-of-the-art IMAX Theater!

Salem Willows
12:00-4:00
Today, we will be enjoying a day at the historic “Salem Willows!” A guaranteed day of
fun in their arcade room, ice cream stand, food, playing in the park and beautiful ocean
scenery from the pier! Don’t miss out!

May 16th
Skyzone Indoor Trampoline Park!
12:00-3:00
Get ready for some jumping fun! Skyzone is the world’s first indoor trampoline park! It
offers one of the greatest workouts ever combined with an awesome, healthy and fun
atmosphere including basketball, foam pit and dodge ball! This will make for a great day!
Wear some active clothing and bring your orange “Skyzone Socks” if you have them!

Gloucester’s Cape Pond Ice Tour
12:00-4:00
Today we explore the historic ice house and working wharf. See spectacular ice
sculptures. Learn about our 166 year history icing Gloucester's fleet and our Perfect
Storm connection! Our group will also visit Stage Fort Park!
Ticket: $ 15

Checkered Flag Go-Karting
11:00-4:00
Here we go again! We are off to do some indoor racing at our favorite go karting arena!
So let’s strap on our helmets and get it into gear as we whiz around the track! Who
knows, maybe we will even beat Tom this year!

Lunch: Pizza and Soda is provided!
June 6th
Kimball Farm
11:00-4:00
Kimball Farm offers everything required to have a fun day! Bumper boats, mini golf,
driving range, batting cages, arcade, food, ice cream and so much more! Be prepared to
have an epic day!

June 13th
Essex River Boat Tour
11:00-4:00
Today we set sail on the Essex River in a pontoon boat! This is a narrated fact tour along
the salt marshes and preserved lands of the Essex River! Get ready to learn a lot and have
a great day on the water! This tour will be run in the rivers only, with no open ocean
driving. Dress comfortable and bring a sweatshirt!

June 20th
Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum
11:00-4:00
Join us at the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum for an experience you will never
forget! Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty will lead the group in a reenactment of the
historic town meeting held just hours before the Boston Tea Party. We will storm down
Griffin’s Wharf and destroy the Crown’s tea aboard the authentic replica ship!Museum for

In case of inclement weather during outdoor outings, we’ll have an
alternative activity planned. Just call the Recreation office and we’ll have a
message on the answering machine with the details.
Outing Reminders:

All participants need to pre-register for an outing
·
Registrations are not finalized until payment of the outing’s registration fee is
received.
·
Registration fees must be received by the Monday before the outing otherwise the
registration will be dropped and the outing slot given to someone on the waiting
list.
·
Registration fees are nonrefundable unless notification is received by the
Thursday at noon prior to the outing by the Recreation Department
·
Outing registrations close the Monday prior to the outing.
·
To help us provide safe, quality programs, participants are to be escorted into
programs sites. Do not leave anyone at any of our program sites without making
sure the program staff has arrived.

Please complete all Recreation Fact Sheets as thoroughly as possible. All
information is important to us! Every recreation participant must complete and
submit the Recreation Fact Sheet and pay the outing registration fee before
attending any recreation outing.
·
Please note the START and FINISH times of each outing and plan accordingly.
Participants should not arrive more than 5 minutes early or be picked up late. (A
$5 fee will be charged if participants are picked up more than 10 minutes past
program completion time. An additional fee of $5 will be added for each
additional 5 minutes.)
·
Outings may be changed or cancelled due to inclement weather, staff shortage or
lack of enrollment. Each outing requires a minimum number of participants to
run. In the event an outing is cancelled all fees will be returned or credited
towards another outing or program.
