Women in STEM Plymouth – please join us for our next event at
HM Naval Base Devonport, Camels Head Gate, Plymouth PL5 1BL on
Tuesday, 14th April 2015 either at 15:00 (for tour) or 17:00 (for talk
and networking). New members are most welcome to join.
Join us for the third Women in STEM event being hosted by Babcock at HMNB Devonport. This is a fantastic opportunity to
network as well as hear from one of the Royal Navy’s first female submariners, Lieutenant Emma Boswell. There is also the
option of having a river boat tour of the naval base as well as either an on-board tour of a submarine or warship.
Due to the fact that visitors have to be escorted around the Dockyard at all times, if participating in the tour, we ask that you
arrive at Camels Head Gate no later than 3.15pm in time to catch the bus.
A later bus will collect late arrivals and attendees that are coming solely for the presentation and networking at 5.15pm.
As the networking event is taking place in the Senior Rates Mess we request that you wear smart/casual attire. The tours
require participants to wear flat, sturdy shoes and trousers.
A section of car park will be marked out for visitors. Take the 3rd Exit off the roundabout just before Camels Head Gate and
you will be directed from there.
