Saturday, March 21st, 2015 Time Event Topic 9:30 Josh Deines – Sandhills/Thedford Spread Passing Game Sandhill/Thedford High School, Dunning, NE 10:30 Dave Schultz – Football Helmet Update Nebraska Orthopaedic, Lincoln, NE 11:30 Jordan Haas – Combo Blocking Hemingford High School, Hemingford, NE T.J. Nielsen, Osceola High School Coach Nielsen has been the Head Coach at Osceola for the last 3 seasons. T.J. has led his team to the playoffs each of those years, which is the longest playoff streak in school history. Coach Nielsen graduated from Peru State and was a member of the Bobcats football team. He was also and assistant at Brady high school. T.J. is also the Bulldogs Track and Strength Coach. Andy Irwin, East Mills High School, IA Andy is a Coe College, IA graduate and participated in football and track during his college career. Coach Irwin is also the 7-12 principal & AD at East Mills. Andy was an assistant coach at Creighton and Malvern, IA before he moved to East Mills. Steve Schneider and Staff, Peru Sate College Coach Schneider is a Fremont, NE native. Steve has been coaching at Peru State since 2011. Before that Coach Schneider coached at Midland University from 1982-2007. Steve is the Offensive Coordinator for the Bobcat football team. Josh Deines, Sandhills/Thedford Josh has just finished his 3rd season coaching the Knights. This year he led his team to the class D-2 quarterfinals. The Knights have improved each year that Coach Deines has been at the school. Josh is a Midland University alum where he also played football. Dave Schultz, Nebraska Orthopaedic Dave and Nebraska Orthopaedic have been very helpful in sponsoring the NEMFCA Clinic. Dave has presented on a number of topics over the years we have had the clinic. We appreciate Dave’s willingness to present on important health and injury related topics. Jordan Haas, Hemingford High School Jordan just finished his 5th year as head coach for the Bobcats. Coach Haas led his team to the class D-1 championship game the last two years and won the class D-1 championship this year. Hemingford is a run heavy team with a large emphasis on offensive line play. Coach Haas is a Chadron State grad where he also played football.
