Responsibilities You are the person who keeps our internal ecosystem healthy. You fix problems big and small, with a mind to fixing the underlying problems with systemic solutions. You hold us to a high standard of effective internal operations. • Supervising the Finance Director and Executive Assistant/Office Manager. • In partnership with the Managing Director and Executive Director, helping to develop and manage the expense budget. Translate financial statements into information that the senior staff and board can use to make informed decisions. • Managing meeting events and budgets. • Managing the Chicago property and special projects related to its possible redevelopment. • Seamlessly onboarding new employees by managing paperwork and anticipating questions as the lead Human Resources staff. • Insures that the organization’s data and systems are secure and compliant. • Taking on ad hoc special projects, such leading the logistics for national conferences. • The role expectations for this position include some of those in the Executive Assistant/Office Manager until that position is filled.
