UHMS LOG-IN PROBLEM CHECKLIST
New (Non Matriculated) Graduate Students
Please ensure that you have met the following criteria.
Remarks
1. You are enrolling in NUS as a full time student for the
coming semester.
Only students who have accepted their NUS offer via the
Graduate Admission System (GAS) will be able to submit a
hostel application.
2. You have not completed your NUS registration and
have not been issued an NUS matriculation number.
3. You had tried to submit your hostel application
through https://uhms.nus.edu.sg/Pre-Matstudents
4. You are not currently a student in NUS.
5. You are not enrolling in the DUKE NUS programme
6. Your NUS application was processed online,
submitted via the Graduate Admission System?
7. You are able login to the Graduate Admission System
(GDA2)
8. You have an NUS Application Number (20XXXXXXXX)
and password to log in to UHMS.
If you have accepted your offer via hardcopy, please ensure
that your faculty/school has updated your status in the
Graduate Admission System.
If you have completed your registration and have been
issued an NUS matriculation number, please try to login at
https://uhms.nus.edu.sg/students . Please wait till the next
day (after 10.00am, Spore time) before trying to login at the
URL provided if you had only completed your registration
earlier today.
If you are a currently a matriculated full time NUS student,
please try to log in at https://uhms.nus.edu.sg/students .
For part time students converting to full time studies in the
next semester, please contact Hostel Admission Services for
assistant.
If you are a student of Duke-NUS, please contact your
coordinator to request for a password and pin so that you
can apply for an NUS accommodation.
If it was manually processed, you may need to contact your
faculty coordinator for your NUS application no and/or
password.
If you are able to log in, please ensure that the Graduate
Admission System reflects that you have accepted the NUS
offer.
If you are unable to log in, please ensure that your
application no., email (in GDA2) and password are accurate.
You may need to reset your password at the Graduate
Admission System.
If you forgotten your password, please request for a new
password at the Graduate Admission System (GDA2)

If you were not issued an NUS application number and/or
password, please contact your faculty coordinator.
9. Your Password does not contain special character
(eg."&","%","$","#","@")
10. Your Password is a max of 8 alphanumeric or numeric
characters in length.

password.

Question” tab. If you are a new user, please create a new account ID and password, otherwise login using your ID and
password.
