We’ll employ the services of local guides along the tour route.
Airfare to Scotland is not included, but I will provide assistance to participants to find the best fares.
The tour begins in Edinburgh on Tuesday, April 26th and will terminate in Glasgow Airport on Friday
May 6th as we arrive by air from Islay. Flights on the return should not be scheduled any earlier than
12:30 pm. Flights will be available to book
about the first week of June 2015. Fares
should be approximately $1100 from the
west coast of the US, about $200 less from
the east coast.
Cost of this tour is $3,995 per person,
double occupancy. The single supplement
is $700. There is a limit to the number of
single accommodations available. Deposit
is $1200 per person, balance is due no
later than February 1st, 2016

Visa and Mastercard are accepted for payment. There is a discount for check of $155 per person.
There is also an early booking discount of $200 per person for deposits paid prior to June 1 st, 2015.
Deposits are non-refundable. If you must cancel after payment is made, we will work with you to fill
your vacated space on the tour. I will provide information about cancellation insurance upon request.
We’ll meet up in Edinburgh on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 26th. Our first two nights are in the
capital city. We’ll leave Edinburgh the morning of the 28th, traveling north to Speyside for three nights.
We’ll join in the Speyside Whisky Festival events as well as taking time to see sites of interest.
We’ll leave Speyside for a two night stay in Oban on May 1st. En-route to Oban, we’ll stop by Loch Ness
to visit the tourism center and the ruins of Urquhart Castle, one of the most photographed castles in
Scotland. We’ll visit the Oban distillery, followed by a day on the water with a cruise to the historic
island of Iona.
Our final three nights are spent in Bowmore on Islay. We’ve saved the smoke and peat for the last of
the tour. We’ll visit no less than 7 distilleries on the island with time to see the natural beauty of Islay.
There are a number of prehistoric standing stones, medieval grave slabs, and castle ruins to explore.
Extra time will be allocated during our visit to Laphroaig to enable members to visit their piece of the
Auld Sod.
