We're Mad About Our Ocean Air Staff
Information for Ocean Air families
Book Tuesday, May 26th
Teachers will have an empty spot on their shelf for students to bring in a new or
gently used book as a gift to their class libraries.
Ocean Air Families and PTA will provide breakfast for the staff.

Flower Wednesday, May 27th
Bring Flowers from home or buy them at school for $1 per 2 stems. Students
deliver flowers to their teachers & aides, and may also drop off flowers at the
main gate for delivery to ESC teachers, health tech, administrative, custodial,
special education, and other staff! Small bills are appreciated for the sale.

Thank-You Thursday, May 28th
Create and deliver thank-you notes to your teachers and staff members. What
has their leadership meant to you? What have you learned from them? How
have they inspired you? Attached is a list of staff members for your reference.
Please deliver your thank-you notes directly to your teachers! There will be a box
outside the front office for thank-you notes to ESC, other staff, Kindergarten
teacher Debbie Kelly and Special Education teacher Candace Chun (see
attachment for details).

A Special Thanks to Two Ocean Air Staff Members
While we celebrate Staff Appreciation Week, we will have Ocean Air teachers Debbie Kelly and
Candace Chun in our hearts and minds.
Debbie Kelly
Debbie has been a Kindergarten teacher at Ocean Air for almost 6 years. Recently, she
suffered a serious recurrence of cervical cancer and is on medical leave.
