Create a Tool Link for Media Tools
UNM Extended Learning is pleased to announce that the robust, multi-featured media tool,
Kaltura, previously available only to fully online courses is now open for use by the entire
university community. The Kaltura media tool makes it possible for instructors and students to:

load and share .mp3's (audio files) or .mp4's (video files)
create videos using their webcams, or
record and post screencasts to share something from their desktops
Create a Tool Link in the Course Menu
1. Go to your course menu (top left part of your screen).
2. Click the plus sign.
3. Click Tool Link.
4. From the Type drop-down menu, click Media Gallery

5. In the Name field, enter the name you would like Ex.:
Media (Course) Gallery.
6. Put a check in Available to Users.
7. Click Submit.
Now students will be able to click the link and access
any media files their instructor has made available!
