Late Fees
We encourage families to register early
to avoid late fees and to ensure
placement on teams.
Don’t forget to mail in the registration
form as soon as you get it so that it is not
forgotten over the short summer months
ahead. If you need a form, please go to

In Loving Memory
OOSL has lost another beloved coach
this spring season. Terry Smiles passed
away on May 6th, 2015. He loved
running marathons, coaching soccer,
attending his kids’ sporting events,
family summer vacations in Frankfort,
and his beloved Sparties. He had a great
sense of humor and loved being around
his family. Terry is survived by his wife
Kristi and his two children Lindsey and
Benjamin. Rest in peace Terry, you will
be missed.

to select both Orion Oxford Soccer
League and Orion Township. This is the
site that the league and township uses to
notify families with: jersey sales,
registration dates, field closures for
practices and games. The site is
completely free and easy to use. If you

On-site fall registration is Saturday June 27th, 2015 at the OOSL Board Office from 10:00
a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (344 S. Broadway in White House – John Burt Realty Bldg.) Jerseys,
socks, window decals and discount cards will be available for sale.
Coupon (see next page) may be used during on-site and early mail in registration period
only.
Mail in registrations must be post marked by June 30th, 2015 to avoid late fees.
If you are new to the league, please include your child’s birth certificate with the
registration form and payment.
All players must play in their correct age group. No play-ups or play-downs.
Late registration begins July 1st, 2015. Late registrations are not guaranteed placement so
register early. Coupon may not be used during late registration. No registrations will be
accepted after 8/15/2015.
Fall soccer season dates are: August 29 – October 31st, 2015. (No games Labor Day
weekend. No games on September 19th.)
No make-up dates for games or practices that are cancelled due to inclement weather.
Fall soccer seasons are a blind draft. New teams will be formed in the fall.
Kiddy Kickers is a great program for children 3-5 years old that are not quite
ready for organized soccer. Registration is through Orion Township at

O.O.S.L. soccer window decals and discount cards are available for $10
each. The discount cards offer discounts to local establishments in the Lake
Orion and Oxford area. The decals and discount cards can be purchased
during onsite jersey sales.
U14 teams will have a new uniform for the Fall 2015 soccer season. Players can
still wear their old jersey if they would like to. Stay tuned to Cancellations.com for
future jersey sales. If you are new to U14, please contact Dolores Gekiere at
[email protected] so a uniform number can be assigned.
