Recycled Art Competition
Presented by Augusta, GA, GRU and Phinizy Center
You can protect the earth and make it more beautiful at the same time! Join us
for Earth Day and the Recycled Art competition! Anyone can enter, and there
will be prizes for each age category.
Categories:
Elementary School
Middle School
High School
Adult
Date – April 18, 2015
Location – Phinizy Swamp Nature Park
Art Drop-off – By 10:00 AM at the Phinizy Education Building
Winner’s Announcement – 11:45 AM at the main stage
Materials – You may use any recycled materials and / or materials found in
nature. For binding, you may use glue, wire, staples, string, metal clothes
hangers and duct tape. Project may be painted. Project must consist of at
least 50% natural or recycled materials.
Category Prizes – The prize for each age category winner will be a $50 Phinizy
Swamp Nature Park gift card good for park merchandise and events.

Phinizy Center, the City of Augusta, GA and GRU the right to publicly display, photograph and publish photos of the art
entry. I also give the permission to use any photographs taken of me while participating in the competition. I further
release Phinizy Center, Augusta, GA and GRU from any and all liability for damage, loss, or misappropriation of the art
entry during and subsequent to the Art Competition. The undersigned further agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and
defend against any and all claims related to participation in this Arts Contest including, but not limited to, claims of
