Notice Inviting Quotation for Laboratory Note Books
Sealed quotations are invited from printers / Press for publication of printed
Laboratory Note Books on Histology, Biochemistry and Experimental
Physiology Practical as per the specimen provided / specification provided
below. The quotations are to be submitted in the Society’s office on any
working day (Monday – Friday) between 1 pm to 5 pm. The last date of
submission is 31st March, 2015.

Separate quotations for composing and/or printing may be submitted.
Society reserves the right to accept / reject any / all tender without showing
any reason whatsoever.
Requirements :
A. Compose
a. Charge per page for composing in English in PAGEMAKER
with one CD
(with or without charts, tables and figure for scanning)
Each book with total printing page – 50
(Total blank page – 75)
b. Charge for scanning (if required)
B. Printing
a. Charge per page (or per format = 8 pages) for printing the
composed matter in black colour.
 For total printing of each page for 3000 copies
 For total printing of each page for 4000 copies
 For total printing of each page for 5000 copies

b. Charge for printing one cover page (1st Cover) in one colour
(yellow / light green / light pink).
C. Paper
a. Total amount of good quality white paper required (including
wastage) and rate of charge per Ream.
(Quality of paper be mentioned in the quotation and samples to
be enclosed)
Each book will consist of 50 printed pages and 75 blank pages
= Total 125 pages

 For total printing of 3000 copies
 For total printing of 4000 copies
 For total printing of 5000 copies
D. Binding
a. Charge for binding with hard board cover (as per specimen) per
copy
 For total number of 3000 copies
 For total number of 4000 copies
 For total number of 5000 copies
N.B. : 1. Following points are to be mentioned in the quotation :
a) Mode of payment (preferably in instalments).
b) Approximate time required for composing / printing /
binding.
c) Charge of delivery after binding, if any.
2. No. Of pages may vary in different Laboratory Note Books.
