2015 COLORADO THUNDERBIRDS
MIDGET EVALUATION/ID CAMP
The Colorado Thunderbirds are happy to announce that our Thunderbirds Midget Evaluation/ID camp
will be April 11-12, 2015, at The Ice Ranch. We have created this ID camp to get an early read on
players heading into the main tryout camp in June. We do encourage all midget aged players
interested in playing on one of our future Thunderbirds teams to attend the ID camp. Attendance will
help our evaluation and will allow the staff to gain some familiarity with the players and families of
future Thunderbirds candidates. We also offer our Midget Developmental skates from May 12 thru
July 23 for other training opportunities.
The Thunderbirds program is a big commitment and the families and players spend a lot of time
together. The ID camp or midget developmental skates are voluntary, not mandatory, but are
highly recommended. It helps the coaching staff to have some type of relationship and history with
the players prior to the main camp from June 10-13. This will allow our coaching staff a better way to
help identify future Thunderbirds players/families that will blend and mesh into a successful team
family.
Please register online according to your birth year, but the Thunderbirds staff reserves the right to
move players between evaluation sessions. It is recommended that players who are interested
should register early. Space is limited. Registration cost is $80. The camp fee is non-refundable.
The main tryout camp for the Colorado Thunderbirds 18U, 16U National/American AAA teams are
scheduled for June 10-13, 2015, at The Ice Ranch. Tryout registration information is available online.
