State-of-the-art Manufacturing Plants THE POSITION Organization Cadila Healthcare Limited Title Senior General Manager – Legal Location Ahmedabad Job Summary Litigation, Drafting, Research and Legal Audit Reports To Senior Vice President - Legal Direct Reports Senior Vice President - Legal Key Stakeholders Manufacturing, Marketing, Business Development, Projects, Other support service functions, Government Agencies and Consultants SENIOR GENERAL MANAGER – LEGAL Senior General Manager – Litigation, Legal Research, Legal Audit Pre-requisite: Essential Qualification: LLB Desired Qualification : LLM Total Number of years of experience: 18 to 25 years Must have a sound knowledge of Legal aspects Preferred Age Group: Between 38 to 45 years Key Responsibilities: Litigation Institute and defend various litigations, filing suits and criminal complaints and serve the process for recovery of dues, TM Oppositions and TM Application Hearings, other proceedings - all in a timely manner, regular monitoring and follow ups of all such matters. Grooming and guiding junior colleagues in drafting suits, affidavits and preparations in conducting cases. Drafting & Research Drafting and vetting of suits, replies, notices, affidavits, evidence and compilation of cases, notification and disseminate legal updates, Research for Legal Cases. Drafting agreement(s) of commercial importance. Legal Audit Preparatory coordination with Departments for Legal Compliance, Checking records, counseling and suggesting corrective action, preparing timey report for Legal Compliance and Monitoring Corrective Action. Provide assistance to seniors and timely support / assistance to various Departments and Colleagues in legal matters. Support Knowledge Sharing Sessions Conduct one session per month on relevant topic as a Team Development and Awareness on the Current Topics and Trends in the Legal matters.
