Dear Members, Neighbors, and Business Owners:
What are you doing for the 4 th of July? We hope you will be in Port O’Connor, because that’s where the most
SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS SHOW on the Coast will be!! The festivities will be held on Saturday, July
4th, 2015 at King Fisher Park. Activities will include a variety of food and craft vendors from 10:00 am, ending
at 9:00 pm with the most amazing eruption of professionally-produced fireworks over the Matagorda Bay.
The campaign for this year’s fireworks show is underway and your support is needed. Since there are no
fundraising events to support this event, the quality of fireworks is completely dependent on donations. It is
through the generous contributions from businesses and citizens from our local community, that we can provide
a quality Independence Day celebration. This year’s goal is to reach $30,000 to prepare for the BIGGEST,
MOST ANTICIPATED and MOST RECOGNIZED event hosted in Port O’Connor….. The one that puts us on
the map!! Because of your continued success here in Port O’Connor, we are first inviting you to be a vital
part of our celebration.
This year we have new donation levels, with all donors receiving recognition on our Facebook page, as well as
the following:
Grand Finale Sponsorship - $2500 – Name, and recognition in all press releases and public service
announcements, donation plaque, appreciation letter and Thank You gift.
Roman Candle Sponsorship - $1000 – Donation plaque, newspaper & picture recognition, appreciation letter
and Thank You gift.
Sky Rocket Sponsorship - $500 – Newspaper & picture recognition, appreciation letter and Thank You gift.
Bottle Rocket Sponsorship - $250 – Appreciation letter and Thank You gift.
Sparkler - $100 – Appreciation letter.
Black Cat - $50 – Appreciation letter.

will ultimately help us reach our goal!
All donations should be made payable to the POC Chamber of Commerce, and may be mailed to Port O’Connor Chamber of
Commerce, Attn: Fireworks, PO Box 701, Port O’Connor, TX 77982. Please note “4th of July Fireworks” when making your
contribution. Also, you can make a contribution on our website at www.portoconnorchamber.org using a credit card or your PayPal
account. The Chamber is a 501(c) (6) organization and your donation may be tax deductible.
