 U3A Port Sorell – 2015 Committee Dear Members, At our AGM on 25th March the following were elected as your committee for 2015/16 Term: 1 Year Term: 2 Years Judith Chamberlain Jenny Connors Melissa Jemison Diane Kelly Anne Lockett Warren Lockett Dianne McLeod Mike McHugo Wendy Sinfield John Sumpton In accordance with the Constitution adopted formally at the AGM, the Committee met on 31st March to elect a President, an Executive (to deal with urgent matters between committee meetings) and to allocate roles and responsibilities among the committee. The outgoing Chairperson of the Steering Committee, Anne Lockett, chose not to re-­‐nominate as President. Anne has provided outstanding leadership and was the major inspiration in the establishment and development of our U3A. Both her Steering Committee colleagues and members acknowledged this at the AGM, At the Special Committee Meeting on 31st March, offices and responsibilities for 2015/16 were determined unanimously as follows; • President: Warren Lockett • Vice President: Diane Kelly • Treasurer and Public Officer: Mike McHugo • Secretary: Wendy Sinfield Programs: Anne Lockett (chair), Diane Kelly, Dianne McLeod, Melissa Jemison, Judith Chamberlain. Operations: John Sumpton (chair), Jenny Connors and Wendy Sinfield.
