Peddler’s Shop Cycling Club Membership Application 2015
The Peddler's Shop Cycling Club (PSCC) is dedicated to helping cyclists reach their physical
goals while raising awareness and funds for those stricken with illness. This goal is
accomplished through various charity rides and organized group rides across the tri state
area.
Our Mission
Peddler’s Shop Cycling Club is an amateur bicycle club whose primary purpose is to
promote participation in cycling activities for both active people and competitive athletes while
helping them to achieve their physical goals. We support multisport participation and healthy
lifestyles through group rides, training rides, events and other educational activities. Our
primary emphasis is on each rider’s safety, while at the same time fostering friendships and
camaraderie, celebrating individual and group accomplishments. The club is dedicated to
making a positive impact on our community through raising awareness and funds for those
stricken with illness by participating in and fund raising for charity bicycle events in the
surrounding area. PSCC is committed to a compassionate and caring endeavor in our
community and promoting awareness of environmental stewardship.
Mandatory Helmet Policy: Peddlers Shop Cycling Club requires all club members to obey
the mandatory helmet policy on any organized training rides or charity events.
Rules of the Road: Peddler’s Shop Cycling Club members are required to follow traffic laws.
Peddler’s Shop Cycling Club’s policies for safe group rides include any organized training
ride. It is your responsibility to be aware of the policy regarding ride conduct, which includes
but is not limited to: foul language, yellow line violations, erratic handling etc. If you are
unsure please ask for instruction. Our main concern is safety and proper representation for
our sponsors.

PSCC Primary fundraising rides for 2015:
1. ALS Express Ride
May 30, 2015 10 to 75 mile courses. The ride supports those stricken with ALS. The
ride ends at Morey’s Pier in Wildwood, NJ it is very well supported with well-stocked
rest stops and great picnic lunch at the finish. Riders receive 2 free passes to Morey’s
pier free to Morey’s Pier with their registration.
2. “The Ride” for The Gloucester County Special Services School District
June 6, 2015 PSCC is proud to be sponsoring and coordinating this ride. We need

3. American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon
June 14th, 2015. Multiple distances ranging from 21 miles to 97.6 miles. The 97.6
mile and 65 mile routes leave from Philadelphia Pa to Buena Vista Camp/Park in
Buena, NJ.
4. Library IV Sunshine Foundation Ride
TBA – Early September from the Library IV in Williamstown NJ. 30 mile starting and
ending at the Library IV, includes brunch. Great prep ride for the MS150.
5. MS 150 City To Shore
October 3 & 4 2015 this two-day bike ride, named bicycling magazines “Best Cycling
Getaway in NJ”, ranks as our biggest ride of the year. We continue our goal of 100
riders and to raise $100,000 for the Philadelphia Multiple Sclerosis Society to help the
11,000 local people living, and dealing with this devastating disease. In 2014 PSCC
had 87 riders and raised over $55,000. Join the team we have training rides all spring
and summer. Then complete the 150-mile challenge in September with the one of the
fastest growing and best supported MS150 teams. Our squad ranges from new riders
to seasoned racers so regardless of your level you will have teammates to share your
experience.
2015 PSCC Membership $35.00
Membership entitles the member to the following:
• 5% (five percent) discount on any new bicycle or frame - Your membership
entitles you to 5% off the cost of any new bicycle. This includes all bicycles &
frames purchased for PSCC members’ personal use. Excludes all special
offers, closeout and sale items.
• 10% (ten percent) general discount - Your membership entitles you to 10% off
all other purchases at The Peddler's Shop. This discount will be taken at
checkout and applies to all parts, accessories & clothing. Bicycles, frames,
labor, special offers, closeout and sale items are excluded.
• 20% (twenty percent) discount on all PSCC team apparel - Your membership
entitles you to 20% off all PSCC team apparel. Our high quality Jersey's,
shorts, tri wear, jackets, gloves, arm warmers and any other PSCC team item
are included.
• Discounted MS150 registration: Sign up early for best pricing - Your PSCC

specials. Quantities are limited and will be offered on a first come first served
basis.
Team Dinner - Our end of year team dinner gives you a chance to mingle
with your cycling friends while you help raise money for the club. While this
dinner is open to the general public, seating is limited and PSCC members
get preregistration rights as well as discounted entry.
We Can’t Do This Without YOU!!!!!!
Ride Leaders: We are looking for individuals interested in leading group rides. You
would be responsible for leading a time, distance, route and location specific group ride
every week. If you were not available on any given date you would be responsible for
putting someone else in charge of the ride. Please let us know if you are interested. This
is a great way to help new riders and show your leadership skills.

Volunteer Information: The success of the Peddler’s Shop Cycling Club is directly related
to the energetic and enthusiastic volunteers who help make sure that all of our rides and
events go off without a hitch. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and
skills. There are many jobs to choose from. Please check any and all of the following

CLUB MEMBER’S RELEASE FORM
In consideration of the acceptance of my application for membership on the Peddler’s
Shop Cycling Club, I hereby freely agree to and make the following contractual
representations and agreements. I also realize this release form is a contract with legal
consequences and that I have read it before signing.
I fully realize the dangers involved with bicycle riding and racing and fully assume the
risks associated with such participation. These include and are not limited to: the dangers
arising from equipment failure, the dangers of collision with pedestrians, vehicles, other
riders, and fixed or moving objects, the dangers arising from surface damage, weather
conditions, and the possibility of serious physical and/or mental trauma or injury associated
with athletic cycling participation and competition.
I hereby waive, release and discharge myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal
representatives, assigns, and successors in interest in any and all rights and claims which
I have or which may hereafter accrue to me against the Peddler’s Shop Inc, Pennoni,
Mercadien, Berkshire Grill, Papa John’s, PJPL LLC, Comcast, Library IV, Lenny PT, Wine
Works, Verge, BTB Security, Masterpiece Kitchens, Peddlers Shop, Peddler’s Shop
Cycling Club and/or any of its previous or future sponsors (named or unnamed).
I agree, for myself and successors, that the above representations are contractually
binding, and are not mere recitals, and that should I or my successors assert my claim in
contravention of this agreement, I or my successors shall be liable for the expense
(including legal fees) incurred by the other party or parties in defending such claim. This
agreement may not be modified orally, and a waiver of any provision shall not be
construed as a modification of any other provision herein or as consent to any subsequent
waiver or modification.
