After our New Year trip and my tale of woe in Idle Chatter we received a lot of advice/suggestions on everything from good footwear, motels, where to eat and things to do etc all to help make a better trip. So with our last adventure in mind John and I thought we would try another few days in Sydney. And, I’m very pleased to report that my ever so thoughtful husband took on board my comments and your suggestions and we ended up having a much more enjoyable trip this time. First off we went to the football on Friday, no need to talk about that as there has been enough said already. It rained all day Saturday so we went shopping, John was a real trooper and we even picked up a few pressies for Stella. Sunday’s weather was brilliant and we spent the day and evening at the Easter Show. Arrived back home on Monday just in time to enjoy the rain. We still did lots of walking this trip but the weather was in my favour (not so hot) and a taxi here and there didn’t hurt. Plus our schedule was not as hectic as our other trips which certainly made this break away more pleasant. Our four day getaway over Easter has been one of our best – I enjoyed every minute of it. ******************* CLAIM THE DATE: Quandialla P&C Trivia Night – Saturday 16th May, more info to follow Caragabal Hall Fundraiser – Xmas in July Saturday 18th July QUANDIALLA FRIDAY NIGHT JACKPOTS: The Quandialla Bowling Club Members Draw came to Quandialla last Friday but that member was unfortunately not in attendance so this Friday the jackpot will be $3500.
